Felix laughed deeply, his face lit up for the first time in weeks. Losing his job had been difficult for him and he found no reason to smile. Having focused all his energy on the group it had taken his mind off of the whole situation but had also made him a hermit, not wanting to leave his home. “You flatter me,” he spoke, pushing a strand of hair away from his face. “I’m twenty-seven. So you’re not too far off. It is crazy how one day you feel young then the next you’re sat in a nightclub frowning at the music choice.” Although he joked, it was half true. “And yourself?”
Nodding in agreement, he took another sip of his drink. “Yeah, you’re telling me. He’s not all that bad though,” Alastair and Felix had their moments but they were family. “By the sounds of it, you’ve got one too?” It seemed that Lyra had personal experience of a sibling.
Felix couldn’t help but notice the blonde touch him. Looking down, he noticed how her skirt skimmed her thighs. Quickly, he glanced back up, eyes wide. “So what brings you here? Out celebrating?” The picture of her perfect legs played on his mind, he needed to focus on the conversation before he attempted to get physical.
