Thorpe loved being back at school. He dove into his work back where he had left off he was researching more on dragons and making his own little guide, type thing. He loved dragons and was hoping that this summer his father could sort him something to go and do some inturn work with them. He would be so happy with that. Today he pushed aside the mounting homework for his classes and thought he would have the day at looking at dragons. His really happy place. He had finished the homework for Care of magical creatures. The only class that he strived to do his best in. to the annoyance of some of his classmates as he could cost the rest and still come out with decent grades. Though he never brags he was happy that he didn't have to try it left more room for him to delve into what he was really interested in.
Today was such day he had headed to the library after Dinner to do more research and look at all the dragon books the school could throw at him. He liked that the library was sort of in the middle of his journey from the great hall to the Gryffindor tower. Ment he could have a pit stop. There were a few busybodies int he Libary. More full then he had seen it this year. When he pushed the doors open a few heads shot up to see who the newcomer was, he flashed his usual smile slipping inside. It was a momentary glance from people before they went back to their homework. Thorpe nodded to the librarian that was watching him as he hurried to his favrout place in the library the care of magical creatures section. This corner of the library is usually empty, a few loved up teens have been noticed to go there when they want to make out but today Thorpe was in look empty and quiet.
Thorpe glanced at the shelves of books his eyes scanning over the spines of the books reading the names. Nothing so far jumped out at him to have anything to do with dragons. He kept looking slowly pulling a few books out as he went flipping to odd pages and glancing at what the book was telling him. A few made the list and he held onto them. Till his arm had a dull ace from the weight of the books. That would be plenty for now. He turned on the spot dropped his bag and sat on the floor. Spreading the books around him and he rummaged for some paper to make notes on. He didn't feel the need to go to a table. He was closer to the books if he had gotten through his selection then. Plus it was a bonus it was nice and quite her so he wouldn't get distracted and his mind goes off track. So he sat and started reading one of the massive books he had selected.
