Anna found herself in a queue. A queue for a quidditch match no less. Did she support the teams that were playing? No, there was a much more important matter that needed to be attended to. A matter that involved the heart.
The Daily Prophet that week had been her source of inspiration. Usually she would flick through the pages, not too interested in the details, but she knew a couple of previous Hogwarts students were playing that week; previous students whom she had played against during their time at school.
The match between the two teams had ended in tragedy. Former Gryffindor beater Jazmyn had got herself an awful write up in the sports pages due to injuring another player. Anna hadn’t been able to hide the glee as she read the whole article, and article written by none other than Jazmyn’s former flame Levi.
Levi and Anna had played on the same team when he had been at Hogwarts. Although good friends, the blonde couldn’t help but admire him and his good looks every time they took to the field. The pair had flirted but nothing had come of it, although Anna had desperately tried. When the news got to her that Jazmyn and Levi were together she was not impressed. Trying anything she could to get them to break up. Jazmyn had helped her out by cheating on Levi, everyone knew so the Slytherin thought her friend should know too, causing the whole relationship to break down. Anna had just presumed they had stayed together after school, Levi maybe forgiving her, however the article suggested something different.
Her intrigue had got the better of her and now she was wrapped up in her warmest winter coat to spend the afternoon searching out Levi Nott, who would more than likely be reporting on this match. Anna needed to know if the man was single. She had never gotten over him and when he left Hogwarts she had presumed that that was it. Now she might have a chance.
The gates opened and the floods of quidditch fans entered the grounds. Anna didn’t follow the crowds though, opting for the alternative press route. After managing to sneak through with a group of journalists, the seventh year lay in wait for Levi to arrive.
